There’s a website which has been set up to promote the upcoming “Roy Ayers Project” documentary. As a 70′s baby, it’s easy for me to recognize what role Roy Ayers’ music has played in my upbringing and adolescent years. Roy Ayers’ music catalog took on a completely different life during my later teenage years into my adulthood as I became involved without making my own music and using elements from his compositions in them. This documentary is dedicated to someone who gave so much to the entire culture of Hip Hop regardless of if you (or others) recognize it or not.
