Bassist Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner has performed and appeared on several artists albums in the past and he’s a studio player and touring bassist for a few groups as well. After hearing him on Shafiq Husayn’s Plug Research album, I knew it was only a matter of time before he’d have one of his own.
