DON’T SLEEP: Ta-Ku “50 DAYS FOR DILLA” [BEAT TAPE]

50 days ago the homie Ta-Ku began a huge undertaking where he’d make a beat a day for 50 straight days in honor of one of his biggest influences (and mine) Jay Dee AKA J Dilla. I made a choice early on that I could post each of his beats or I could listen to them, wait and post the entire project after he was done for the sake of continuity. This way the full weight of this immense project captures the listener.
