The whole Native Instruments vs. Akai Pro debate has been raging on for years now but it’s really coming to a head in 2012 with Akai dropping their MPC Renaissance and MPC Studio in addition to the new upcoming iPad 2 application. I decided to post up this video featuring producer/emcee Kero One giving a fair and unbiased review of the Maschine detailing the pros & cons of it versus the Akai MPC 2000 from back in October 2010.
