DON’T SLEEP: Roane Namuh x Reva DeVito “Cloudshine” [NEW PROJECT]

I discovered this project on Bandcamp a few hours ago and I haven’t been able to stop playing it. This shit is SO damb good  (I did rewind “Frozen” about 10 straight times…) I can’t believe that: 1) I haven’t heard it yet 2) I can’t believe more people aren’t talking/writing about it 3) That I haven’t heard of either the producer or vocalist before. In any event, Portland based producer Roane Namuh and singer/songwriter/vocalist Reva DeVito dropped this project way back on Valentine’s Day (February 14th) and it took almost 4 months for me to finally find & hear “Cloudshine” but better late than never (“Candy” is the jawn, too). This project is 8 tracks long but if this jawn dropped between 1998-2000 it would occupy the same place in my heart that Res’ “How I Do”, Esthero’s “Breath From Another”, The Controls “One Hundred” and several other similar albums occupy. Don’t sleep on this…
