The story goes that Numonics and the homie J57 of Brown Bag All Stars were going to do a spilt Fiona Apple beat tape at one point. Numonics and J57 both bought the album and that day Numonics hammered out 5 jawns. He got up with J57 and he was like “Nah, I didn’t like it”. The end result is “SMOKINGAPPLE” which is dope and you can hear it right now on Audiomack. A bunch of drops with added drums and vocal samples.
