DON’T SLEEP: Wax Poetics x East Of Underground Documentary [DOCUMENTARY]

My two favorite re-issued rare albums of the past 5 years are Drag City’s 2009 re-issue of Death’s album “…For The Whole World To See” and Wax Poetics’ 2007 re-issue of East Of Underground‘s album (If you actually tune in for #DiggasKnow on Twitter from Noon to 1:30 or 2 PM each Sunday you’d know that already). They made a mini documentary telling the story of this obscure Army band that formed in Germany on an Army base near the end of the Vietnam War by a bunch of draftees. One of the bands members has come forward and helped to tell the story of the greatest Army band ever, East Of Underground. Hopefully more members will come forward one day. Watch the Wax Poetics documentary here. DON’T SLEEP!
