On May 17th, No Sleep Recordings dropped a 41 song compilation that chronicled many of the early works from the distinguished career of producer Nick Wiz (Nickle Plated Productions). This is the second such compilation of his boardwork from the period of 1992-1998 (Encompassing the 2nd Golden Era and the beginning of The Backpack (Indie) Era). I discovered that I was a nick wiz fan after noticing so many chino xl songs I liked were produced by him. last laugh/not fa nuthin/bring the drama/grab the mic/N.I.C.E. plus I told you so the track & the album. he comes with the illest beats. they always match the song lines/tone/feeling/all that. amoeba once had CS vol 2 but I didnt have the money to buy it. it was gone the time I went there. BTW it was released on my birthday! 5/17. the odds of that… mind blowing
