DON’T SLEEP: Noyland “Welle 9” [BEAT TAPE/INTERVIEW]
German label ENTBS dropped a beat tape by Noyland called “Welle 9” recently and here is footage of Hulk Hodn and Hubert Daviz stopping by a radio station giving an interview and then playing the tape on air (no the audio when they’re talking isn’t being played backwards. They are speaking German). They begin playing the beat tape at 9:12 if you wanna skip ahead. Don’t sleep!

DON’T SLEEP: Retrogott x Brous One “Di Ay Ti Si EP” [NEW PROJECT]
Earlier this month the German label ENTBS/Entourage released a 7″ from Retrogott and Brous One. I was taken aback by the mix of German and Spanish on here. There are 4 tracks on this vinyl, namely “Di Ay Ti Si”, “Pesadilla”, “Cambio” and “Interludio”. Apparently, this 7″ is a precursor to a collaborative LP called “Mote Con Huesillos” coming in early 2012. As soon as I can locate some purchase links I’ll update this post with them. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: ENTBS “Irgendwas Mit Medien” OST [NEW PROJECT]
In addition to the new Hulk Hodn x Hubert Daviz double vinyl (that isn’t available for purchase digitally until November 4th, 2011) “Kaseta” ENTBS/Entourage of Germany also released an impressive limited vinyl soundtrack for a German stage play “Irgendwas Mit Medien” that I think you had to purchase in person at the venue during and after performances. In any event, I ended up with a copy and it’s fuckin’ amazing. If you can get your hands on this “Irgendwas Mit Medien OST” from ENTBS/Entourage with production by Hulk Hodn, Hubert Daviz, Noyland, Retrogott & Romeo Jesus then bless you. It’s hard as hell to find but SO worth it. Don’t sleep…

DON’T SLEEP: Hulk Hodn x Hubert Daviz “Kaseta” [NEW UPCOMING ALBUM]
Yeah, turns out that my German isn’t that good after all. I thought that the new Hulk Hodn x Hubert Daviz “Kaseta” double LP vinyl release happened today. Nope, it’s just the day pre-orders begin as the project will officially drop on November 4th, 2011. Oddly enough, Pre-orders will ship by or on October 21st, which is dumb early. You’ll have to wait until November 4th for the digital release, however…
This tape based collaborative instrumental project will be released on double vinyl. Four sides, 23 slaps produced and then distributed and two dying mediums in a digital age. I love the idea. You can cop “Kaseta” from HHV, Vinylism, & ENTBS if you can figure out where the pre-order link is for the Collector’s Club they mention. DON’T SLEEP!

Here’s a 5 minute snippet from the soundtrack to a German film called “Irgendas mit Weiden” that features production from Hulk Hodn, Hubert Daviz, Noyland, Retrogott & Romeo Jesus. Apparently the film and/or the vinyl drops the same day “Kaseta” does on the ENTBS site, October 14th, 2011. Can’t wait until this all actually makes sense! DON’T SLEEP!
