I Know Producers I Know Beats

Jay Large Presents…

Buggin Out

BUG is 24 year old Benjamin Oluonye from London UK,  I’ve met up with BUG a couple of times at the Louisden Beat Cyphers and amazingly enough I had never really checked much of his music untill the LDBB league for 2010 kicked off.

BUG has been pretty busy recently with the construction of his website and the release of his single Cosmic Lab / 20 Winks on Jus Like Music Records which is available to download FREE grab that Sativa joint as well.

Jus Like  Music / Apple Juice Break dropped a dope compilation “Oscillations” and featured a BUG joint “Indica”

All this plus taking the crown as champion of the Louisden Beat Battles League for 2010 and it’s only April… with all this already achieved and with more to come, I’d say Bug is definately one of the UK producers to keep tabs on.

Dre McKenzie – It’s Easy To Reach Me

Dre Mckenzie

Head of A&R for G Unit Records

Born: Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, Dre McKenzie started out in the music business as an intern at Universal Records under the guidance of then director for A&R Dino Delvaille.

Dre quickly made an impression at Universal with both his enthusiasim  and work ethic and this paid off when Dino moved on to become SVP of A&R at Sony BMG taking the young Dre McKenzie with him as his assistant and junior A&R, Dre also connected with the highly regarded VP of A&R Nikki Martin allowing him to gain vast experience and knowledge in the industry working on projects which included Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, Amerie, Omarion, Lil’ Flip, Three 6 Mafia, Xzibit, Life Jennings, Amerie, Goapele, John Legend, Genuine, Nas, and more.

Producers I Know

First of all shouts to my dude Frank (FWMJ) who started the whole Rappers I Know movement.
I’ve been sending beats from my producers over to Frank for the past couple of years and we’ve had some great conversations about this rap game.
I guess it kinda fell into place when I said to him, when you gonna get this Producers I Know site up….you know it’s gotta happen!!! Frank’s reply was….Word!!!

So building on to my push for the producer I manage “Pete Cannon” and the others who I shop beats for I decided it was time to gel the two sites together and with Franks blessing we are making it happen, he has always been amazed at the talent from the producers I link him with.

Hopefully the site will progress into a source of knowledge and advice for producers who are seeking to get their beats heard not just by rappers but by industry A&R’s.

So as an introduction and to kick off the site I thought I would like to introduce you to the kinda talent I have been pushing beats for.
