S1 AKA Symbolyc One of Strange Fruit Project is a hot name in Hip Hop & R&B production right now but I’ve been a fan of his since 2006. Back in 2008, he began uploading YouTube videos of his then 10 year old son who went by the name VohnBeatz. He was already surprisingly good but his improvement over the span of a year was astonishing. His YouTube videos got so popular that it led to VohnBeatz having a showcase at the prestigious One Stop Shop held by Sha Money XL.
Here the then 12 year old VohnBeatz blew everyone’s minds with his talent and charisma. He’s only gotten better since then, people. I retagged and posted this beat tape on Poisonous Paragraphs for him back then. He’s won a few beat battles and showcases since then, too. By the time he turns 16, he’ll be a MONSTER. Later on he made it part of his live performances, this was all before Araab Muzik began doing his live MPC sets and sadly enough claiming that no one was doing it before him on Twitter last year.
