Here’s the audio of the lead single from Evidence’s long awaited “Cats & Dogs” LP on Rhymesayers Entertainment. The release date is September 27th, 2011. The last real Evidence release was “The Layover EP” he dropped on Decon back in November 2008 and I remember the news initially broke of Ev signing his contract with Rhymesayers back in July 2009. He said he’s gone through some personal shit during this time so hopefully it makes for some great music and this album will serve as catharsis. Production will be handled by Evidence, The Alchemist, Exile, DJ Babu, DJ Khalil, Jake One, Sid Roams, Rakhi & DJ Premier.  Here’s the Sid Roams produced lead single titled “To Be Continued…”. DON’T SLEEP: Soul Assassins: Alchemist “A Day In The Life” [VIDEO]

Alchemist (also half of Gangrene & Step Brothers) has been down with Soul Assassins since he was a teen & a member of the group Whooliganz with Scott Caan. He began producing jawns for artists like Buc Fifty (formerly of Da Wascals), Swollen Members, Dilated Peoples, Group Home, The High & Mighty & Defari early on before he started to raise eyebrows with his production for Mobb Deep. Now Alchemist has been an influence to many of the go to producers of this era while still making heat and touring with Just Blaze on their Soundclash Tour.
