The collective known as Eight boasts a membership full of some of the illest synth heavy blapmakers around, including Thriftworks, Insightful, B. Lewis & RIL (or ril). If for some reason you slept on the $1 Bandcamp opus “8” then you have NO excuse whatsoever so not download the free re-up titled “8.1”. The bottom line is here are 16 ill slaps from 4 of the nicest cats in the game. Recognize and realize.

Without any further ado, here are the links for both projects. 16 slaps for $1? You can’t beat that deal anywhere. You can hear and download “8” & “8.1” at the Eight (Thriftworks x Insightful x B.Lewis x RIL) Bandcamp. Don’t sleep…and stop being greedy! © DMX

DON’T SLEEP: Hir-O “The Voyage Home” [FREE INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM]

Hir-O’s slaps were first brought to my attention not too long ago by one of my peers William Ketchum. Ketchum & I go way back to the old AllHipHop.com days so if he’s trying to put me up on something, I’m listening. He sent me some tracks produced by Hir-O & I was instantly impressed. Especially after hearing the production he did for a recent mixtape up on Bandcamp. I told Ketchum if he had anything new dropping soon to let me know. I was in luck, he was and here it is: Hir-O “The Voyage Home”. Download & streaming links will be provided below. If you like what you hear and want to contact Hir-O’s management about production work then hit up the homie Ketchum @ weketchum@gmail.com. Serious inquiries only. Don’t sleep!

DON’T SLEEP: Illastrate “Inner G” [NEW SINGLE/FREE DOWNLOAD]

Some of you may be familiar with the producer Illastrate AKA Hoody Allen through his previous work with artists such as Aarophat, Boog Brown, Mojo Swagger and Senor Kaos. His upcoming instrumental album “Eddie Coleman: Friday Night Theme Music” drops December 29th on his imprint Working Class Music. Trust me, it’s up there with the other excellent instrumental projects that dropped in 2010. Here is the lead single for said project entitled “Inner G”. Play it. Download it. Prepare yourselves for Illastrate’s “Eddie Coleman: Friday Night Theme Music” when it drops 12.29.2010.

DON’T SLEEP: IMAKEMADBEATS “Daylight EP” & “Nightlight EP” [FREE EP’s]

Bloggerhouse favorites IMAKEMADBEATS and the entire Doxside Music Group decided to continue their dominance of 2010 (which included the epic Bloggerhouse sponsored “Dare Iz A Doxside Mixtape”) by closing out the year with two amazing EP’s, “Daylight EP” featuring the vocal talents of the respected emcee Butta Verses and the “Nightlight EP” featuring the monster himself Midaz The Beast. Typically, cats just decide to lay low in December and let the past 12 months of work speak for them. Not the Doxside camp, they simply don’t believe in resting on their laurels (though it would be a much earned rest after the 2010 they’ve managed to put together).

After hearing these two projects your eyes should be open wider than homie in that scene in “A Clockwork Orange”. Be on the lookout for IMAKEMADBEATS, TzariZM, and the rest of the Doxside Music Group in the near future. Don’t sleep. Sleep is the cousin of Death.

DON’T SLEEP: William Cooper f/ Stoneface “Free” [VIDEO]

William Cooper’s “Free” is the 4th official Video from his critically acclaimed solo debut “Beware Of The Pale Horse”.  This video is the final part of a two part visual series that began with Cooper’s “One Roll of the Dice” video, which are both filmed and directed by Mad Sci for Scientific Lens Media.”Free” features a hard-hitting soulful backdrop orchestrated by the rising Wu-Affiliate Producer BP and introduces Stoneface as the newest addition to the Gemstarr Regime Record Label. “Free” visually takes the viewer on a trip into the modern day world where the power of the dollar bill continues to keep the general population prisoner to the system, hence keeping “we the people” from ever truly becoming free.

Fresh off two US Tours with his Black Market Militia comrade Killah Priest and also being nominated for Independent Album of the Year at this year’s Underground Music Awards; Cooper returned with a re-newed focus on promoting “Beware Of The Pale Horse” as the awareness and sales continue to climb. If you have yet to pick up William Cooper’s “Beware Of The Pale Horse” it can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic and Underground Hip Hop.com. Don’t sleep, visuals to follow:

DON’T SLEEP: Jomac “Beat Mix 3” & “Days Explained…Beat Set 1” [FREE INSTRUMENTAL PROJECTS]

DON’T SLEEP: Jaisu “Prelude To The MPC EP” & “Straight Out The MPC” [FREE EP & INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM]

Bloggerhouse favorite, Beat Fanatic member, Tartan Bully (w/ S-Type) and Scrunchface Show regular Jaisu had the internet going nuts since he started posting up his Beat Tape series online (shout out to AB0181) in addition to his Louis Den battle videos plus live demos. Folks have been clamoring for material of his they could download or purchase for the longest. They finally have something to bang in their iPods, Zunes (?), smartphones or whips with Jaisu’s free EP full of recent placements “Prelude To The MPC EP” and his instrumental album “Straight Out The MPC” featuring many of his slaps made from 2007-2010 that have been featured in his incredibly popular online Beat Tape series.

When Jaisu was asked in a recent YouTube Beat Tape where’d he get his drum sounds from, he responded with “Where do I get my drum sounds from? DRUMS!”. That answered epitomized everything there is to know about Jaisu and his Tartan Bully cohort S-Type. Cop “Straight Out The MPC” and if you need work from him hit up his manager OJ Loopz @ JaisuBeatsandBooking[at]gmail[dot]com. Serious inquiries only. Also expect to hear some more exclusive Jaisu & S-Type slaps @ 8 -11 PM EST tonight on The Scrunchface Show @ http://bloggerhouse.net/live. Don’t sleep.

DON’T SLEEP: Nameless “16 Bit: Bonus Stages” [NEW ALBUM]

Nameless became a quick favorite with us over at Bloggerhouse and he also became a mainstay on The Scrunchface Show due to his projects “16-Bit” & “Be[ats] Original Vol. 2”. Selections from those two releases dominated our weekly tracklistings before Hypedog dropped the amazing “The Best Of Nameless” compilation on the masses. When Nameless made his appearance @ the Detroit Red Bull Big Tune competition and announced that he’d be making “16-Bit: Bonus Stages” anticipation was Wiz Khalifa @ 9 AM high. Now that I’ve heard it I can say that it met all my expectations and exceeded them. The sleeper must awaken. Get you some:

DON’T SLEEP: Kaytradamus “Teriphikness” (FREE INSTRUMENTAL PROJECT)

Montreal producer Kaytradamus was brought to my attention recently but when our boy Luigi @ Hypedog hit me up with a link to a recent recorded Kaytradamus UStream where he played several ridiculous selections from a new project of his. He proclaimed that he was going to drop it soon. After Nameless’ “16 Bit: Bonus Stages” had the internet going nuts, Kay was skeptical as to what kind of reaction “Teriphikness” would receive. I’ve been playing it for the past two hours straight, mind you. Y’all are going to hear this shit and lose your damb minds. Here’s the D/L link and as more links become available I’ll update this post. Enjoy:

DON’T SLEEP: Munoz “A Day In The Life 3” (Free D/L)

Munoz is a regular on Bloggerhouse‘s The Scrunchface Show as well as the site Hip Hop Hypedog. Now we get 39 blaps from the 14 year old beat prodigy himself on “A Day In The Life 3”. Between him and VohnBeatz (13 year old son of producer Symbolyc One whose instrumental project “New Kid On The Block” dropped last year) Hip Hop production has a bright future and is in more than capable hands. Brutal Music x Hard White feat. Un Pacino & Mumbles “Get It In ”

Brutal Music x Twin Gambino & G.O.D. Pt. 3 (Infamous Mob) “Kings From Queens”

The second single in a series from the Brutal Music camp brings forth some good old fashioned New York City thugged out street rap. Twin Gambino & G.O.D. Pt. 3 (Infamous Mobb) rep lovely on “Kings From Queens” and Un Pacino & Mumbles (Hard White) bring it home nicely on “Get It In”. This is pure unadulterated street shit. Both beats produced by Vanderslice for Brutal Music. Stay tuned as Stu Bangas & Vanderslice are almost finished up with their Blaq Poet project, and they’re just starting to work on another collaborative effort with Reef The Lost Cauze.
