Onra has decided to make a sequel for one of his most storied and loved albums “Chinoiseries”. After making repeated trips to Asia and copping more Vietnamese and Chinese records it only made sense to make another edition. He’s also made collaborative albums with Quetzal (“Tribute”) and Byron The Aquarius (“The Big Payback”) in addition to “Chinoiseries”, “1.0.8” & last year’s Boogie Funk inspired “Long Distance” but anticipation for “Chinoiseries Pt. 2” is already through the roof even though it was JUST announced officially today. This is an interview that The Alchemist first did from an NYU dorm room back in 2000 for the Burly Bear Network’s Hip Hop show called Hipnodx. I was a regular viewer back then and it was hosted by a young college student/producer named Phlegm. His beats would often play during episodes as he introduced videos. Either that or he interviewed rappers or producers. It’s crazy that I actually found this interview in pieces from different users but mainly from one on YouTube who had the entire jawn up in 2 halves.
