Camel Crock is a Russian beatmaker who released his instrumental album “Unfunkable” via Russia based internet label Free Crates a few days ago. DJ Bloodbeats is the A&R there (who’s from Germany) and he does amazing work landing new projects and securing new talent. This is a brilliant follow up to his last Free Crates instrumental project “Jazzmansions: Preparation”. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: Lingvisto “Kind Wood” [BEAT TAPE]
Free Crates Records is notable for flooding the game with multiple releases every time they drop some newness. This time is no different as I’m going to spend pretty much the next hour just on Free Crates jawns outta Russia. Here’s the funky ass “Kind Wood” beat tape (it says “LP” but all signs point to a beat tape aesthetic/designation) from Lingvisto. Listen intently and don’t sleep…

DON’T SLEEP: Thelonious Martin “Afternoon With The Homme Team” [BEAT VIDEO]
The first time I heard of Thelonious Martin was back in 2009 and this was the project that opened my eyes. Now here we are in 2011 and the New Jersey producer is still a teenager. He’s only gotten better since 2009 and he’s well on his way to becoming a beast. Here’s Thelonious Martin in progress of making a banger and sharing his philosophy on bacon. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: Retrogott x Brous One “Di Ay Ti Si EP” [NEW PROJECT]
Earlier this month the German label ENTBS/Entourage released a 7″ from Retrogott and Brous One. I was taken aback by the mix of German and Spanish on here. There are 4 tracks on this vinyl, namely “Di Ay Ti Si”, “Pesadilla”, “Cambio” and “Interludio”. Apparently, this 7″ is a precursor to a collaborative LP called “Mote Con Huesillos” coming in early 2012. As soon as I can locate some purchase links I’ll update this post with them. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: James Doe “The Beat Catalog” [BEAT TAPE]
I got an email from a VA area beatmaker/producer called James Doe who sent me a 26 beat collection called “The Beat Catalog” earlier today at my new email address DartAdamsIsABastard[at]gmail[dot]com. I heard it twice and afterwards I decided to make this post. Go forth and rock with it yourselves. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: 12 Original Players “Birthday Beat Bonanza Pts. 1-4” [BEAT VIDEOS]
UK producer/beatmaker 12 Original Players has been on my radar for quite a while but oddly enough I haven’t posted anything of his before on Producers I Know although I follow him on both Twitter and SoundCloud and he’s nice with it. I decided to begin with his “Birthday Beat Bonanza” series where he makes beats and films the entire process for his family members’ birthdays. Since today is my niece’s birthday and I can recall making beats and songs for her when she was younger I felt it only right to begin here. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: Symbolyc One (S1) Recreates “Excellence” From “Watch The Throne” [BEAT VIDEO]
I’ve been a fan of Symbolyc One’s production going back to the early days of Strang Fruit Project whom I first learned about on Okayplayer circa 2005. Here it is, 2011 and now S1 is one of the most well knownand hottest producers in the game. Here’s a video I didn’t post previously on Producers I Know because I couldn’t figure out how to embed Vimeo or MixCloud on here back when it first hit. Now that the “Watch The Throne” hype has finally died down I think it makes sense to play it now. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: ESTA “GarageBand Beats” w/ “Gold”, “TRAPMUZIK” & “YouTube Beat” (prod. by ESTA) [BEAT VIDEO & INSTRUMENTALS]
Here’s a video ESTA recently uploaded that breaks down his beat creation process. Apparently he uses GarageBand and adds on with synths and keyboards to make his slaps extra funky and whatnot. I typically use GarageBand to make ringtones. More evidence that ESTA is better than you at beatmaking? I’ve added three new slaps from his SoundCloud page called “Gold”, TRAPMUZIK” and “YouTube Beat” to this post so the entire batmaking process video has a proper context. DON’T SLEEP!

DON’T SLEEP: Sleaze f/Sonnyjim & NoCanDo “The Real (Kosyne Remix)” (prod. by Kosyne) [REMIX]
“The Real” originally appeared on Sleaze’s 2nd album “Arkitectoniks” and was originally produced by UK vet Chemo AKA Telemachus. The homie Kosyne made a remix for it and posted it up on SoundCloud. I dig it…
